Urgent: 5.1-magnitude quake hits 33 km W of Yuyapichis, Peru -- USGS

BEIJING, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 33 km W of Yuyapichis, Peru at 2326 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 102.6 km, was initially determined to be at 9.59 degrees south latitude and 75.27 degrees west longitude.
