WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Commission on Presidential Debates on Monday announced a new rule on muting the microphones of President Donald Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden to give them each two uninterrupted minutes at the beginning of every debate segment in the upcoming final presidential debate.

HANOI -- Floods, landslides and other natural disasters triggered by downpours have left 105 people dead and 27 others missing in Vietnam's central and central highlands regions since early October, the country's Central Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control said on Tuesday.

ABUJA -- A total of 16 doctors have been killed so far while battling the COVID-19 pandemic in Nigeria, Africa's most populous country, said a medical association leader on Monday.
